John Pistachio of New Jersey, a subscriber to Apple Arcade, says he was forced to "pay the price" because of the company's "contradictory behavior."
Apple Inc.
was accused' of monopolizing the mobile game market and monopolizing the mobile
game market by making the iPhone a competitor in the shopping market for
shopping games. The practice has resulted in higher prices and fewer choices

court in San Jose, California, on Thursday. Service buyers download games that
can be played' on their various Apple devices.
According to
John Pistachio of New Jersey, a member of Apple Arcade, Apple's app store rules
have kept Microsoft Corporation, Google Games and all major players in the
market away from the iPhone App Store since launching the service last year.
Is. Who says he has been forced to "pay super competitive prices"
because of the company's "contradictory behavior"?
Apple has
blocked competitive services for a number of reasons, including that they
promote games rather than installing them directly on the iPhone from the
Internet. Apple has also barred individual apps from offering access to
multiple games, which means that launching rival services on the iPhone is
essentially impossible.
In
September, Apple eased restrictions on third-party gaming services, allowing
such requests if they meet complex requirements.
Pistachio is
trying to represent other Apple Arcade users in the proposed class action
lawsuit. "By illegally competing for predictions, Apple has reduced
consumer choice, stem invention, and quality of service," he said in the
complaint.
Apple did
not immediately respond to a request for comment.
